A puzzle

Here is a puzzle: Can anyone tell us the exact meaning of ‘quzzer qurt?’  Mother thought that it meant ‘son of a monkey’ and was probably an Ottoman variant (i.e. not Arabic).  However, someone else told us it was something to do with red wolves, or fox – so we omitted it from the book.  Mira remembers an incident in their early years in Israel – this was soon after the Aliya – when the family rented a house and garden.   Moshe, a boy next door, befriended her brother Simon and they spent hours playing games of marbles in the garden. His mother was always calling him home for his dinner muttering under her breath ‘quzzer qurt’.  So what was she saying?

We have asked around but have yet to get a definitive answer.
